On June 26, 2024, Miklós Sebők and Bence Ságvári, project leaders of the MILAB Artificial Intelligence National Laboratory at the HUN-REN Centre for Social Sciences, participated as invited speakers in the 4th Strategic Workshop of the HUN-REN Hungarian Research Network. Among other topics, the strengthening of the organisation of the Hungarian Research Network and the first results of the research site screening completed in June were discussed. At the Strategic Workshop, Balázs Gulyás, President of HUN-REN; Roland Jakab, CEO of HUN-REN; Prof. Em. Alexander J.B. Zehnder, Chairman of the HUN-REN Advisory Board; Thomas Perlmann, Professor at the Karolinska Institute; and Jui Lim, CEO of SGInnovate. This was followed by a science café where the directors and researchers of the institutes discussed the key issues for HUN-REN innovation.
