From October 3-6, 2024, Boldizsár Szentgáli-Tóth participated as a speaker in the scientific roundtable organized by the International Association of Constitutional Law at Sapienza University in Rome. The event focused on the latest challenges facing constitutional democracies.

Title of his presentation: Artificial Intelligence as an Instrument of More Effective Parliamentary Work.

In his lecture, he explored how the new opportunities created by artificial intelligence can be harnessed in parliamentary work and how these tools can assist human contributors. He highlighted existing examples from Argentina, Bahrain, Brazil, Estonia, and Italy, and identified specific areas for implementation, such as document archiving and statistical analysis, managing legislative amendments, promoting citizen participation, preparing minutes, and generating summaries with generative AI tools.
